The leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat Association visited the Fergana region and reviewed a number of projects aimed at developing manufacturing and retail infrastructure for the leather and footwear industry.
In particular, a project was reviewed for the construction of two-storey shops and leather and footwear production facilities on a vacant 9-hectare site in the Nurafshon community of Qo‘shtepa district.
The projects place particular emphasis on providing ready-to-use workspaces for artisans, enabling them to produce and sell footwear and leather goods on site. This creates convenient conditions for artisans to establish manufacturing and retail operations at a single location.
During the visit, an open dialogue was held with entrepreneurs. All problems and issues they raised were thoroughly examined and resolved on site, and detailed answers were provided to their questions.
