A meeting aimed at the development of multilateral economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea was held at the "Uzhcharmsanoat" association. The management of "Ozhcharmsanoat" association, representatives of "Ozsanoatqurilishmateriallari" association, "Uzeltexsanoat" association, heads of two state enterprises and large investors took part in the event.

At the beginning of the meeting, potential investors from South Korea were briefed about the reforms implemented in the leather, footwear and fur industries of our country, the investment environment and the conditions created for foreign investors.

During the B2B dialogues organized between businessmen of the two countries, an agreement was reached between the footwear manufacturing enterprise "San+One" LLC, a member of the "Uzcharmsanoat" association, and the companies "Incense Korea", "LG Luxury Beauty" on the export of locally produced footwear products to South Korea. . Product samples were presented to the heads of foreign companies. The first export of products will be carried out in May of this year.

 South Korea's "Building Materials Testing Research Institute Co., Ltd.", "Juil Co. Ltd." and between "Simon Korea" and "Uzsanoatqurilishmaterialary" association, negotiations were held on the attraction of South Korean companies in the construction materials and geological industry to our country.

First of all, foreign partners made an offer to bring from South Korea to Uzbekistan the special complex technologies used in the technical testing of building materials produced at local production enterprises, and then to organize their production in our country.

In addition, "Simon Korea" company presented their project on processing unused ore and other minerals in the regions of natural mineral wealth production located in our country to produce gold and other precious raw materials used in jewelry.

During the meeting between the representatives of "Ozeltexsanoat" association and the leaders of "Techone System Co., Ltd.", "Daeha Solutech Co., Ltd.", and "Korea Electric Lighting" companies, the parties exchanged samples. Also, negotiations were held on the export of cable products initially produced in Uzbekistan to South Korea, and later on establishing the production of modern lights (LED) in our country in cooperation with local enterprises.
