A meeting with the investor from People’s Republic of China - the director of the company "Uychi Chemicals" LLC was held in the "Uzcharmsanoat" association. A Chinese investor is planning to implement a new investment project specializing in leather processing in our country. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss in detail the organizational and practical aspects of project implementation.

The favorable business environment in Uzbekistan, the conditions created for foreign investors and the benefits provided attract foreign companies to our country. This, in turn, is expanding the flow of foreign direct investment into the leather industry.

 In the meeting, the board of the association gave the investor detailed information about the large-scale reform policy aimed at creating a favorable business environment for local and foreign companies in our country, the introduction of fair and low tax burdens, and the creation of a new system for the cooperation of customs and tax systems.

The new project, which will be implemented by a Chinese investor, includes a complete chain of production. Raw materials necessary for deep processing of leather are also prepared here. The initial amount of the project is $ 8 million. The new enterprise will be implemented in Tashkent region.

Organizational and practical aspects of the implementation of the investment project were discussed in the meeting. Also, opinions were exchanged on issues related to increasing the production capacity of finished and semi-finished leather products and directing them to export. Future perspectives of cooperation were defined.
