The member enterprises of "Uzcharmsanoat" association took part in the "Innoprom-Central Asia" international industrial exhibition held in Tashkent city with their collective booth. The exposition consisting of ready-made leather, shoes, fur, karakul and localized products attracted great interest from companies of countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.

During the three-day exhibition, the board of "Uzcharmsanoat" association and our local enterprises held a series of negotiations. In particular, the Russian company “Техномет” expressed a cooperation initiative on the purchase of men's, children's and women's shoes from our country. Exchange of views on export-import issues with the company with the aim of obtaining distribution authority for deliveries to the Russian market.

 "MEDBELROS" company of the Republic of Belarus negotiated with Uzbek enterprises on the implementation of a new investment project on the production of orthopedic shoes.

The entrepreneurship and industrial and innovative development department of South Kazakhstan region is planning to purchase ready-made wool and fur products from Uzbekistan. Also, today, due to the huge amount of wool raw material base in South Kazakhstan region, an agreement was reached to open a new joint venture in cooperation with Uzbekistan in this region.

 The Kazakhstan Association of Light Industries plans to buy ready-made footwear products from entrepreneurs of our country. In this regard, negotiations were held with a number of Uzbek enterprises.

During the three-day exhibition, trade agreements with a total value of $ 7 million were signed for the supply of ready-made footwear and leather products from Uzbekistan to partners for the period of 2023-2025. In addition, investment agreements worth $ 16.5 million with Russian companies were signed.

$ 13.5 million of the total amount is the capital of Russia. For example, a new enterprise with the capacity to produce 120,000 pairs of children's shoes per year will be launched in Tashkent region with the Russian company “Технолюкс”. Also, in Andijan region, it is decided to implement a joint project with the Russian company "Mosez INC" for the production of 50,000 pairs of shoe uppers per year.
