In the "Uzcharmsanoat" association, a meeting was held with Sergey Mayorov – chairman of the industrial cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan, who came to our country as part of the delegation of the Russian Federation, within the framework of the big industrial week "INNOPROM-Central Asia", held in our country.

The purpose of the dialogue is to establish cooperation between the enterprises of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan in the field of leather industry, to develop industrial cooperation.

It is known that the industrial cluster of Tatarstan is the largest cluster in Russia. It has been operating since 2015. Its main task is to develop innovative products and compete with world brands through the development of cooperative relations. Today, more than 180 companies are members of this cluster.

During the meeting, the Tatarstan side informed that today the demand for finished leather and footwear products is increasing in the Russian Federation. It is planned to use the potential of Uzbekistan to cover domestic needs. For this reason, it is intended to establish the sale of various types of footwear and fur products produced by our country's enterprises in large trade networks in Russia, including Tatarstan.

A cooperation agreement was signed between the "Uzcharmsanoat" association and the industrial cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to implement cooperation in this regard as soon as possible. With this document, the parties conduct mutual trade. The Tatarstan side is engaged in finding potential trade networks for Uzbek enterprises and placing products of our country. The Uzbek side is responsible for receiving orders from Russian stores and delivering them on time.

Also, an agreement was reached on the organization of business tours for the companies of the two countries. Proposals for launching joint ventures based on the capital of Tatarstan were considered in the future.
