During the visit of the delegation of "Uzcharmsanoat" association to South Korea, a meeting was held with the "JM" company, which supplies leather products for the automotive industry of this country.

During the meeting, the Korean company was given detailed information about the quality of leather products produced in our country, the base of raw materials, modern technologies used in enterprises, and the investment environment.

"JM" company is the largest leather manufacturing enterprise in South Korea. Leather products manufactured here are mainly supplied to cars of Hyundai, Kia, and Toyota companies. The annual income of the company is 250 million dollars. The production plant, which was built at the cost of 1 billion dollars, is fully equipped with Italian and German technologies.

In the interview, the company informed that it is aware of the changes and updates in the field of leather industry in Uzbekistan in recent years, therefore it plans to purchase secondary and finished leather from our country.

Also, the delegation of "Uzcharmsanoat" association got to know the production processes and the quality of products. Here, the representatives of the "JM" company were presented with business proposals for the implementation of KSZs established in 16 regions of our republic and projects directed to the leather industry.

The company expressed its initiatives to open a joint venture in the Tashkent region and supply the leather produced there to the South Korean market and to large companies in the field of automobiles.
