A meeting was held with Deborah Taylor, managing director of the Sustainable Leather Foundation (SLF), in cooperation with the "Uzcharmsanoat" Association and the embassy of Uzbekistan in UK. During the dialogue, negotiations were held regarding the membership of our country's enterprises to this organization and their management system.

SLF is a large international certification organization that assesses the implementation of ecological, labor protection, social and economic principles in the field of leather processing and preparation.

Obtaining the SLF certificate means that these enterprises fully comply with all the standards required by the UK and the EU. Today, more than 200 enterprises are members of the organization.

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged regarding the membership of Uzbek enterprises and the adaptation of management to EU standards. Also, the director of the organization was given the detailed information about the enterprises of Uzbekistan, which are already ready to meet the world standards required by SLF.

For example, the technical parameters, quality of products and management of the enterprises "Top Quality Brand", "Angren Charm Invest", "Peng Sheng Charm", "Hamkor Nur-Savdo" were discussed. SLF announces the membership of these companies after the completion of deep auditing and technical controls.
