Negotiations were held at the “Uzcharmsanoat” Association with China’s “Runxin” company on the implementation of a new investment project. During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the upcoming activities under the project.
“Runxin” company is launching a $1 million investment project in the Tashkent region. The project envisages the production of various granules needed for the leather and footwear industry. In addition, seasonal footwear for both domestic and foreign markets will be manufactured. The products will primarily be exported to European countries and the United States.
It was noted that this investment will not only expand production capacities, but also create new jobs, train local specialists, and increase export volumes. As a result, Uzbekistan’s leather and footwear industry will gradually shift from exporting raw materials to exporting finished products, strengthening its position in the global market.
