In order to gain a deeper understanding of Uzbekistan’s leather and footwear industry, explore investment opportunities, and assess export potential, a delegation from Pakistan’s leather industry paid an official working visit to the Fergana Valley. The visit was organized by the “Uzcharmsanoat” Association and attracted considerable interest from foreign specialists in the region’s industrial zones, manufacturers, and exporters.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured “Adib” LLC in the Fergana region. They were provided with detailed information about the company’s production lines, product quality, and export capabilities. The delegation also visited the small industrial zone (SIZ) in the Qo‘shtepa district, where they received a comprehensive presentation about the zone’s infrastructure, land allocation procedures, and preferential conditions. Delegation members noted that they would share this information with members of the Pakistani leather industry association.
The next stop was the “Ravon Taraqqiyot Orzusi” LLC in the Andijan region. The visitors expressed strong interest in the company’s footwear products and reached initial agreements regarding export collaboration. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral ties, sample orders, and logistics planning.
The delegation also visited the local KFK cluster in Andijan, where they observed the full cycle of leather production – from raw material selection to finished goods. This visit left a strong impression on the Pakistani representatives.
To conclude the visit, the delegation toured the modern leather and footwear small industrial zone located in Oltinko‘l. They received detailed information about the zone’s operations, existing infrastructure, trade center, and the business-friendly conditions available to resident companies. The delegation expressed willingness to initially open a showroom in Oltinko‘l, and if interest grows, they would consider establishing production facilities there.
