As part of an official business visit, representatives of Pakistan’s leather industry became acquainted with the operations of leading leather enterprises in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region. The delegation visited “Angrencha Charm Invest” and “Hamkor Nur Savdo” LLCs, where they examined production processes, existing infrastructure, raw material resources, and export capabilities.
This visit marked a practical step toward expanding trade and economic cooperation between the leather sectors of the two countries. It also served to explore new partnership mechanisms and develop joint projects.
The core focus of the discussions was the international trade of leather raw materials, particularly the potential export of large cattle hides produced in Uzbekistan to Pakistan. The Pakistani side expressed strong interest in this product, noting its consistent demand, wide use in processing, and compliance with international quality standards.
Initial negotiations on this matter have begun, with both parties agreeing to further study the details related to supply volumes, delivery timelines, logistics, and customs procedures.
At Angrencha Charm Invest, the delegation reviewed the company’s production process, explored the facility’s capacity, technologies, and product range. As a result, preliminary agreements were reached to implement joint investment projects focused on deep leather processing, the production of semi-finished and finished goods, and subsequent export to Pakistan and other markets.
Opportunities for franchising-based cooperation were also discussed. Under this model, products manufactured in Uzbekistan could be exported to global markets under Pakistani brand names.
The emerging cooperation model between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the leather industry is both mutually beneficial and strategically important. Uzbekistan offers a strong production base with quality raw materials and industrial infrastructure, while Pakistan brings extensive export experience and established international market access.
