Within the framework of the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition held in Lahore, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, products of Uzbek manufacturers are being widely showcased. The exhibition also features Uzbekistan’s leather industry enterprises presenting their products, including finished and semi-finished leather, footwear, leather goods, wool and fur, as well as raw materials used in this sector.
During the exhibition, the Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, A. Sultanov, actively held negotiations with Pakistani companies and investors. In particular, during discussions with Pakistani companies, the prospects for bilateral cooperation were reviewed. The Pakistani side expressed interest in purchasing Wet Blue leather from Uzbekistan.
Today, new opportunities are emerging for the development of trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, which marks an important step towards strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
