The Chairman of the "Uzcharmsanoat" Association, A. Sultanov, met with a delegation from the Chinese company "Zhejiang Red Dragonfly Shoes", one of the largest footwear manufacturers in China.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the results of studies conducted by the company in the Andijan, Namangan, Fergana, and Jizzakh regions as part of the planned investment project.

It should be noted that in 2024, at the Uzbekistan-China Business Forum in Chengdu, the leadership of "Zhejiang Red Dragonfly Shoes" reached a preliminary agreement on implementing a new investment project worth $10 million.

During the meeting, initial negotiations began regarding the allocation of land plots for the project's implementation. Representatives of the Chinese company visited various regions of Uzbekistan to explore the most suitable locations for production. The discussions also covered the procedures and conditions for granting these land plots.

This month, a delegation led by the president of "Zhejiang Red Dragonfly Shoes" is expected to visit Uzbekistan to finalize and sign the investment agreement.
